May/June Activities For 001 Dolphin Team Members
May 31st 4-6:30pm. Dolphin Swim Team Kickoff! After practice all swimmers will receive a Dolphin Dog, Chips & a Drink.
June 4th 3:30-6pm. Tie-Dye Shirt Activity after practice. Please bring white cotton tee-shirt. Everything else supplied. Create your own tie-dye shirt.
June 7th – 6-8pm. Family Kareoke night! Come sign up for your favorite song to sing solo or with a group!
June 11th – Dolphin Beach Day! Ventura Beach area – 1884 Spinnaker Dr, Ventura, CA 93001. Left of bathrooms/lifeguard tower/rock getty. No Practice!
June 14th 6:30-8pm. Family Bingo Night. Everyone plays Bingo. Prizes! (if you’d like to donate items, please contact Wendy Guardado)
June 19th 8-9:30PM. Moonlight Madness!! Dazzling color, music, & swimming fun for all. (for Dolphin Swimmers Age group 9/10 and above)
June 27th 6:30-8:30pm. Float Night. This special evening allows you to bring your favorite floatie to the pool and hang out. This is the only time floaties are allowed in the pool:). Finish the evening with an ice cream float. We will have the float time split between under 8 years age group (6:30-7:30 with ice cream floats after) and over 9/10 age group (7:30-8:30 with ice cream floats prior).
July Activities For 001 Dolphin Team Members
July 4th – Clubhouse and Neighborhood races & fun! Our biggest fundraiser of the year! Lots of yard games, pool games, and food to be enjoyed! No practice, just fun!
July 9th 7:30-9am. Morning Mile Fly. That’s right, 60 laps of Butterfly:). A challenge with a nice pay off:)..Yum, yum…..
July 10th 7:30 am. Breakfast @ IHOP with Mile Fly Finishers. Bring your appetites, it’s on us!
July 11th 6:30-8:30pm. Family Pasta Night & Pie-In-The-Face Activity. Feast on spaghetti, pastas, salads, desserts and top off the evening by throwing a pie at your favorite Coach’s face–Always a favorite! Pie tickets can be purchased right before the event. Please bring cash!
July 14th 6:30-8:30pm. Awards night. Time to celebrate all the success of our Dolphins. After awards enjoy dessert while watching our video recap of our 2023 swim season!
July 17thth – Beach Day End of Season Celebration! Carpinteria State Beach for day time!
Our Dolphin Booster Club is offering an activities package for 001 Dolphin Team member siblings who are not active team members. The activities package is $10.00 per participant and covers all the activities listed above (except Mile Fly IHOP breakfast). Please contact Laura Jenkins.
